Jai Shannon is an actress, director, producer, & entertainer, that is soon to be one of the brightest stars in Hollywood. 

Born & raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jai began performing on the historical Greenwood Avenue aka Black Wall Street, in church plays & community center dance programs at only 3 years old. 

Throughout her childhood, she continued preparing for her career by joining dance ensembles & school plays. She got her start in theatre when she played in Pocket Full of Hope’s “The Wiz,” a community theater, home to Tulsa.  

With her mom, she relocated to Los Angeles in 2013, where she attended CHAMPS, a performing arts high school where she studied theatre & acting. She was discovered by current manager, Rikki Dale Safchik, at a school play. 

Jai has made her television debut on FX’s Legion & Lifetime’s Dying to be a Cheerleader, & has been in commercials for Ubisoft’s Just Dance, Macy’s, Amazon, & USPS. Jai has also worked with renowned directors such as Noah Hawley on Legion & Sade Clacken-Joseph in her USC Short Good Girl. 

Jai is also a content creator, present on platforms such as Youtube, Snapchat, Instagram, & Tiktok, sharing advice & lifestyle content, as well as dance challenges for her followers. In addition to her work in front of the camera, Jai has been a visual director & concept artist for the independent record label, Respect The Real since 2020.
